- 2 pounds ground beef

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
Directions
1. Cook the Beef:
- In a large skillet, cook 2 pounds of ground beef over medium-high heat until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
2. Sauté Vegetables:
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, add the cooked beef, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped green bell pepper, and 2 minced garlic cloves. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
3. Combine Ingredients:
- Add the following to the pot:
- 2 cans diced tomatoes (with juices)
- 1 can kidney beans (with liquid)
- 1 can pinto beans (with liquid)
