Ingredients:
- 1 (9×13) sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz shredded spicy cheddar (e.g., Cabot Habanero cheddar)
- 2-3 ripe Bartlett pears, sliced
- 1 egg
- 1-2 tbsp honey
- ΒΌ cup chopped toasted walnuts
- Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling
Instructions:
- Prep Puff Pastry: Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the thawed puff pastry on the sheet and poke with a fork.
- Assemble Tart: Sprinkle shredded cheese over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border. Arrange pear slices on top.
- Brush & Bake: Whisk the egg and brush the edges of the pastry. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the pastry is golden and crisp.
- Finish & Serve: Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with walnuts and sea salt. Cut into 9 squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
