Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Cake

This delightful cake brings all the warm, nostalgic flavors of cinnamon rolls without the fuss. Perfect for cozy mornings or as a special treat!

Ingredients:

  • Cake:
  • 3 cups flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1½ cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ⅔ cup nuts (optional, such as walnuts or pecans)
  • Glaze:
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4–5 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with oil or cooking spray.
  2. Prepare Cake Batter:
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
  • Add the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
  • Gently stir in the melted butter until well incorporated.
  1. Prepare Filling:
  • In a separate bowl, mix the softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts (if using).
  1. Assemble Cake:
  • Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan.
  • Spoon the filling mixture evenly over the cake batter.
  • Use a knife to swirl the filling into the batter, creating a marbled pattern.
  1. Bake:
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  1. Prepare Glaze:
  • While the cake is baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  1. Finish Cake:
  • Once the cake is done, drizzle the glaze over it while it’s still warm.
  • Let the cake cool slightly before serving.
