BBQ Bacon Burger 🍔
This BBQ bacon burger combines smoky bacon, tangy barbecue sauce, and a juicy beef patty for a mouthwatering meal!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for flavor)
- 4 slices bacon
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for topping
Directions:
- Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Reserve some of the bacon drippings.
- Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill to medium-high.
- Form the Patties: Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- Grill the Patties: Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil. Cook the patties on the grill for about 4 minutes per side for medium doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of provolone cheese on each patty and brush with barbecue sauce.
- Toast the Buns: Cut the buns in half and toast them on the grill for about 1 minute until golden brown.
- Assemble the Burgers: Spread a bit of barbecue sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place the cooked patties on top, followed by two slices of bacon, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
